Assembly adhesive for polyurethane products

When buying decorative products made of polyurethane, you should not forget that they require high-quality consumables. By saving on such important details, you may encounter problems such as: peeling off from the glued surface, divergence of profiles at the seams, or simply shedding of decorative elements. You should not believe the “professionals” who say that polyurethane products can be glued to any inexpensive glue and mixture; do not forget that polyurethane products are much heavier and denser than foam decors.

For work with polyurethane products, extradated polystyrene, and polystyrene foam, assembly and joint adhesives are used. Adefix P5 is a mounting adhesive from the Belgian company NMC, which has been tested and approved by many construction organizations, architects, designers and craftsmen.

Adefix P5 acts as a milky adhesive putty, has a dispersion, synthetic base, paste-like consistency, it can easily restore cracks and seams, and after application it remains elastic, which makes further work with it easier. When opened, Adefix P5 dries in 10-15 minutes, complete drying occurs after 24 hours. Suitable for porous surfaces (brickwork, concrete, plaster), as well as fiberboard and good adhesion to plasterboard. The heat resistance of Adefix P5 glue is from -20 C to +70 C, but it should be noted that it is not frost-resistant and is used only indoors. You can apply the glue either with a spatula or with a gun (cassette). Adefix P5 has different packaging - 5 kg, 1 kg and 310 ml. This packaging makes it possible to purchase the required amount of glue for the individual volume of the client. The glue consumption is individual and is adjusted using an average fork, since decorative products have different dimensions. Glue in a package of 5 kg is consumed from 40-60 m.p., 1 kg - 15-20 m.p., 310 ml is consumed from 4-6 m.p. Shelf life - 24 months in closed packaging, the tool is cleaned with water after use.
