Find out more about the textures of Affresco frescoes

Publication date: 9 January 2014

The Russian company Affresco has been on the market of decorative wall coverings for 11 years. The company began its activities as an art studio, offering its services in painting and interior design with decorative plaster. Modernizing and developing production, Affresco has developed 16 materials for the production of frescoes: Velatura, Beze, Sabbia, Sabbia (facade), Pietra, Craquelure, Patina Gold, Patina, Patina Silver, Patina White, Patina Light, Patina Black, Silver Art, Gold Art, Silver Crack, Gold Crfck, and also expanded the range of images of different styles to 10,000 scenes, launched the production of wallpaper and handmade paintings.

The company's professional artists and designers work on the creation of collections. All images are of excellent quality, which allows you to produce a fresco of any size while maintaining clear lines and color accuracy. Main stages of production: 1. A layer of plaster (the future basis for the fresco) is applied to a non-woven non-woven fabric, onto which an image is then digitally applied; 2. Individual details are drawn by the artist on a finished basis; 3. The fresco is varnished, which makes it resistant to moisture and ultraviolet radiation; 4. When making Craquelure, at the last stage, the master rubs the cracks with marble chips, which creates the effect of an aged canvas.

To create interesting or thematic projects, a fresco will become an indispensable decorative element that can be used in residential and office spaces, in swimming pools and bathrooms, on building facades and gazebos, for decorating table tops and furniture. In order to become more familiar with the subjects of the frescoes, you need to carefully review the proposed catalogs. Affresco's products have gained popularity not only among consumers in the CIS countries, but also among consumers in Europe and America, and the ISO 9001: 2008 quality certificate gives confidence in the high quality of products that meet international requirements.

Fresco textures:

velature

Velatura - the texture allows you to recreate the artist’s brush strokes; a light matte shine will add airiness and lightness to the textures. The thickness of the canvas is less than 1 mm. The maximum size of the product without joints is 3.26 * 10.20 m.

business

Beze is one of the inexpensive textures, but this does not in any way affect the quality of the material; the relief and fine sand are approximately reminiscent of artistic painting on decorative plaster. The maximum product size without joints is 3.26x10.20 m.

Sabia

Sabbia is created on the basis of sand material and perfectly imitates real art painting without the aging effect. This texture is distinguished by a uniform, homogeneous sand surface and the richness of the transmitted colors. The thickness of the canvases is up to 1 mm, thanks to which they can be mounted on various surfaces without much effort: walls, ceilings, vaults. At the same time, the frescoes do not require special installation and are glued like non-woven wallpaper. The maximum size of such a fresco can be 3.26x10.20 m. Sabbia (for facade) - Facade frescoes are reinforced with a special reinforcing mesh that prevents cracks and ensures durability, and thanks to a special varnish, facade frescoes are not afraid of exposure to wind, humidity, frost and ultraviolet rays.

pietra

Pietra is a material with a stone character. Pietra material is a voluminous texture with a pronounced rocky relief, ideal for simulating a pattern on a rock fault. The texture of this material can add expressiveness and reveal the character of any image.

crack

Craquelure is a surface that perfectly imitates an antique wall covered with cracks. The texture is made by hand by Affresco craftsmen, thanks to which any image turns into a real work of art with an antique effect.

pitina

Patina is an airy texture with artistic relief of porcelain cracks. The slight roughness of the surface and the richness of the rendered colors will give the charm of luxury to any interior, and thanks to the special varnish and the absence of grout, the play of light on this texture gives the image an aura of mystery. Ease of installation and invisible joints will allow you to create frescoes without restrictions in size. The size of the canvas without a joint is 3.26x7.60 m.

patina gold

Patina Gold is the crown of creation, unique and unparalleled in the world. The whimsical dance of sun rays with golden sparkles in the cracks of the “Patina Gold” material gives rise to a magical radiance of the image and creates the illusion of unreality. The size of the canvas without a joint is 2.60 x 6.00 m, and the final size of the fresco can be as large as desired. Thanks to the thickness of the canvas up to 1 mm, frescoes can be mounted on any surface without much effort.

patina silver

Patina Silver - a noble shade of silver in an elegant web of thin cracks creates a slight three-dimensional effect of the image. This texture looks especially impressive on canvases with a monochrome image, which, in combination with silver grout, takes on a new meaning. Frescoes on the “Patina Silver” texture will make your interior truly unique, striking you with the shimmer of light and the playful shimmer of silver particles in the cracks of the texture. Light relief and the effect of shimmering cracks will make joints visually invisible when producing large frescoes, creating the effect of a single canvas. The size of one canvas without a joint is 2.60x6.00 m.

patina white

Patina White - light rough surface with thin chaotic white cracks. The grout used in Patina White perfectly reveals the color and shape of the cracks. Recommended for color images in dark colors. The maximum size of one sheet without a joint is 2.60 x 6.00 m. The thickness of the sheet is less than 1 mm.

patina faded

Patina Black is a light rough surface with thin chaotic dark gray cracks. Recommended for light-colored images. Ideally reproduces the color of natural cracks. The maximum size of one canvas without a joint is 2.60x6.00 m.

silver art

The Silver Art texture has an elegant relief that imitates the broad strokes of an artist’s brush and has a pronounced silver color. Suitable for use in rooms with high humidity and children's rooms. The maximum size of a fresco on the Siver Art texture is 3.26x7.60 m. Use with a joint is not recommended.
