Polyurethane fireplaces - the most budget option to get a fireplace

It has long been believed that you can look endlessly at three things: how water flows, how fire burns, and how the starry sky twinkles. Fire has always fascinated and attracted the eye; for centuries, humanity has tried to preserve and maintain fire in the home. In the modern world, the desire to sit near the fireplace in the company of loved ones with a cup of coffee and take a break from the bustle of the city is growing every year. And we wonder how to create a cozy place in our apartments? In design magazines we find decorative fireplaces decorating prestigious apartments and cozy country houses. We are concerned about the cost of such products, but we want to reassure you, we have them at the lowest price in Ukraine. There are three types of decorative fireplaces: symbolic and conditional imitation, reliable imitation.

In order to create a reliable imitation of a fireplace, you need to create a U-shaped structure from plasterboard (you set the dimensions yourself), you should only take into account that the depth of the niche is no more than 40 cm (the niche will serve as a firebox and either a bio-fireplace or an electric fireplace will be built into it). To decorate the fireplace we use polyurethane stucco, it is best suited; to decorate the legs we use 2-4 cm moldings (smooth or with ornaments), consoles, trims, half-columns or pilasters. To decorate the upper part of the fireplace, we use a cornice, which will serve as a dividing strip for the portal and help create a “cap” on which to lay out the mantelpiece (the mantelpiece is a horizontal strip, which can be made from materials such as marble, artificial marble, wooden canvas, plastic window sill) , ornaments will serve as decoration and emphasize your style. The mantel will serve as a shelf for small decorative items, creating special coziness and comfort in the room. Upon completion of the finishing, water-based or acrylic paint will help to give an aesthetic appearance; if your style is restrained and laconic, you can decorate the fireplace with decorative textured plaster, which looks very advantageous in the interior.

Polyurethane modular fireplaces allow for quick and worry-free installation; they can be glued either to the wall or to a finished plasterboard structure. They consist of a top element and two curly or straight legs. To create a conditional imitation, make a niche no more than 20 cm deep, filling it with decorative candles, decorative vases, branches, flowers, etc. If you think that your fireplace lacks depth, use mirror tiles, they will help cope with this task perfectly. The mirror, when hit by light, will play and echo itself. For country houses, you can use false fireplaces finished with decorative or facing stone for jointing; this method does not require any further finishing and looks harmonious with a wooden mantelpiece. Another material, laminated chipboard (laminated chipboard), can be useful for creating a decorative false fireplace. You need to make a drawing and contact furniture companies, they will cut it, and you will assemble it on site.

The simplest imitation of a fireplace is symbolic, it does not require any structures; you can use moldings that will create the shape of a fireplace and console for decoration; to create a background, use frescoes or stickers reminiscent of the flames of fire. When choosing one of the types of fireplace, you should think through all the details so that this decorative element is combined with the main details of your interior, and does not live a separate life.
