Universal plastic slopes are warm, easy to clean, and since they are made of the same PVC as the window profile and react equally to temperature fluctuations, they are not susceptible to deformation and cracks. So, the materials you will need:
- plastic sandwich panel 8 mm thick;
-U-shaped molding for starting fastening;
-F-shaped finishing molding;
-wooden slats;
- insulation - mineral wool;
-self-tapping screws 4.5 mm (bugs) and 95 mm;
- white silicone.
Tools: hammer drill or drill, construction stapler and staples, fine-tooth hacksaw, metal scissors and construction knife, level.

Along the perimeter of the window opening, using a drill and 95 mm self-tapping screws, we fasten a wooden batten, strictly horizontally and vertically, placing blocks if necessary. The rail must be securely attached; it will support the slope and take on the entire load of the structure. It is important that it lies flush and does not protrude onto the wall, but the joints of the slats in the corners are not important.

We fasten a U-shaped profile along the outer edge of the window with bugs, also strictly level. The tape should fit tightly, and the joints in the corners should meet neatly. Along the perimeter of the outer edge of the opening, using a stapler, behind one of the narrow parallel strips, between which the slope will be inserted, we fasten the F-piece. Having previously accurately measured the height of the side (width of the upper) slope, we cut narrow parallel strips (they will go to the side of the slope), and leave the wide part of the F-ki, which will lie on the wall, with a margin of 6-7 cm. By the way, if the wallpaper in the room is changing, then it’s time to stick it on, since F will cover the edge around the perimeter of the window. A big plus is that you don’t have to worry about cutting the edges evenly, and if the replacement of the window did not coincide with the renovation of the apartment, then the F-shaped molding hides damage to the wallpaper.

Having accurately measured, we cut out the slope itself from plastic. Having inserted the far edge into the U-shaped starting fastener, we put insulation behind it and insert the other edge into the F-shape. And so on all three slopes. We cover the not quite ideal joints in the corners of the opening with white silicone, although as an option it was possible to use a special profile here too. Ready!

Some craftsmen suggest planting slopes directly to the openings using liquid nails. But, firstly, for this it is necessary to initially have fairly even openings, and secondly, it is more reliable to insulate them. Just do not forget that for normal light to enter the room, the slopes must have a turned angle, and not a straight line. Also, many do not consider it necessary to seal external slopes, but in vain: under the influence of the sun, the polyurethane foam crumbles and forms cracks. For external slopes, plaster or plastic is most often used.
